DGL WAREHOUSING IN DESIGN PHASE FOR NEW 2,000 SQM DANGEROUS GOODS WAREHOUSE

DGL Warehousing & Distribution is in the design phase for a new 2,000 sqm dangerous goods (DG) warehouse located at 28 Bowden Road in Mt Wellington with a target completion date of mid 2021.

DGL is frequently at 100% storage capacity and 28 Bowden Road has underutilised hardstand land; therefore, making it the prime location for the new warehouse to be constructed on. Not only will the proposed DG warehouse increase the property value, but it will increase the profitability of DGL Warehousing & Distribution as well.

28 Bowden Road offers a full range of dangerous goods storage, and the new proposed DG warehouse will increase storage capacity within a highly efficient site, which will be attractive to both existing and new customers. It is likely that the new DG warehouse will be specified for specialist aerosol storage, but this has not been confirmed.

In 2017, DGL built a class 3 bunker and as recently as at the end of 2019 built a standalone canopy providing a weatherproof thoroughfare and storage between the class 3 bunker and main warehouse.
